About the BID

Your Bromley BID

Your Bromley is the Business Improvement District (BID) for Bromley Town Centre. We are funded by the local businesses to improve everyone's experiences here in Bromley.

What does
Your Bromley do?

We help businesses in the BID area with a variety of services, but we also work on projects for visitors too.

Our Ambassador Rob helps visitors by having an extensive knowledge of the town, giving directions, and answering any queries. She also liaises with local businesses, keeping them informed of initiatives and responding to their queries.

We also provide and maintain hanging baskets throughout the High Street, as well as the Christmas lights, and the all important Light Switch On event!

Security & Cleanliness

Your Bromley funds extra police presence in the town, known as Operation Gemini, to curb antisocial behaviour and discourage shoplifting and theft, to help promote safety in Bromley.

We also deploy street cleansing teams every two weeks to pressure wash the pavements, removing chewing gum and keeping the streets clean.

Events

Your Bromley hosts several events throughout the year to encourage visitors to explore and enjoy the town.

Annual favourites are:

Floral Fest - local schools produce beautiful floral based projects on a theme, which are displayed in town.

Wimbledon on the High Street - deck chairs, Pimms, strawberries and a big screen to enjoy the tennis on the High Street

Food Festival - a chance to experience workshops and displays form local businesses, as well as enjoying deals with our book of offers.

Christmas Lights Switch On - a festive favourite, with entertainment and the big switch on!

We have lots of events coming up this year, so check out our events page, for our own as well as other events happening in Bromley.

Bromley Heritage

Bromley has a long history as a market town, and many surviving heritage buildings.

The Bromley Civic Society's website has lots of information about the buildings and heritage green spaces of the town, with historical photos, plans and several self guided walks.
