Full time equivalent salary £32,000 per annum. Role is for up to 16 hrs per week –
fixed term contract for up to 18 weeks.

Bromley Council has been awarded funding for a Night Time Enterprise Zone (NTEZ)
in Bromley Town Centre. Pro-Active Bromley has agreed to manage and deliver the
Celebration of Sport Event that forms part of the NTEZ plan.

As the Celebration of Sport Events Manager, you will report to Pro-Active Bromley
and you will be responsible for the development, organisation and delivery of the
Celebration of Sport event which will take place in July 2023. Consequently, prior
experience of event management and / or delivering a sport or physical activity
programme is required.

As the Events Manager you will work with a wide range of stakeholders including:
Your Bromley, local sports clubs, leisure and physical activity providers, Public Health
and Bromley Council. Therefore, you should have the skills to build relationships and
work in partnership.

The role demands excellent planning and organisational skills, the ability to work on
your own and use your initiative and strong communication skills to ensure effective
working with a range of colleagues and partners.

You will be organising an evening event and therefore you must be able to work and
attend some meetings / events in the evening and / or weekends.
