We’ve had a busy summer in Bromley Town Centre, from the blooms of Floral Fest to the roar of the Bromley Motor Show, and the magic of Midsummer Movies. Here’s some highlights from this year’s events.
Now in its eighth year, this much-loved celebration brought together 30 local primary schools, each transforming the pedestrianised area of the high street with unique planters inspired by the theme ‘My Future School’. This wonderful event highlights the importance of both the natural world and creating welcoming local spaces. The pupils’ imagination and dedication are truly inspiring, a big well done to all the schools involved!
The inaugural Bromley Motor Show brought thousands of extra visitors into town, showcasing over 100 marvellous motors. The atmosphere was electric, with a roaming New Orleans-style jazz band providing the perfect soundtrack to the day.
From 7th–9th August 2025, Queens Gardens was transformed into a magical free outdoor cinema for Midsummer Movies. Daytime films delighted families and younger audiences, while evening showings catered to an older audience. A huge thank you to everyone who came out, voted for the People’s Choice finale (Mamma Mia!), and help raise a fantastic £1500 for Bromley Borough Foodbank through our deckchair hire.
Your Bromley is proud to deliver events that bring our community together, boost local businesses, and make our town centre a vibrant place to visit.
