Market Square Winter Planting

Our dedicated team were up bright and early to give Market Square’s tree pits a seasonal refresh.

Back at the start of summer, we brought these previously barren tree pits back to life with cheerful petunias. Now, as the colder months set in, we’ve replanted with vibrant violas to add a splash of colour to Bromley’s town centre through the winter months.

Thanks to our early-rising team, Market Square is staying bright all year round – look out for them on your next shopping stroll!

We’d like to give a huge thank you to our amazing local businesses, including Starbucks, Crepe Affaire, Pedro Lounge, and the flower stall by White Hart slip for lending a hand with watering and helping our new plants settle in for the season.

Gum Removal We are continuing to work in partnership with Bromley Council to tackle chewing gum. Operatives are using specialised machines to remove gum from pavements, employing a heat and detergent system that is environmentally responsible, biodegradable, phosphate-free, non-corrosive, and neutral in pH. Chewing gum is not covered by the Council’s standard street cleaning contract.
