Your Bromley BID continues it’s work to make Bromley Town Centre a safer Place at a strategic level, Your Bromley is a key member of Superintendent Luke Baldock’s Retail Crime Working Group, whilst on the ground, we’re co-ordinating intelligence sharing and evidence gathering – targeting the most prolific offenders with a view to obtaining Criminal Behaviour Orders.
At our most recent retail security meeting, our BCRP delivery partner, Safer Business Network, provided an overview of some of the main perpetrators of shop-lifting and antisocial behaviour. Inspector Jim Allen was in attendance to respond directly to businesses’ concerns. Bromley’s CCTV control room manager also joined us to discuss best practice for use of our Shop Safe radio system. If you’re interested in joining the Shop Safe radio scheme, which connects you directly to other businesses, the CCTV control room and the police, please email us at: enquiries@yourbromley.com
Next Retail Security Meeting date: Wednesday 23 July 2025
