Floral Fest 2026

30 local primary schools are set to transform the pedestrianised area of the high street with unique planters inspired by the theme ‘Growing Together’. Join us on Saturday 20th June as our judging panel, featuring much loved television presenter and gardening guru, Charlie Dimmock, tour the displays and announce the winners.

From Friday 19 June, the pedestrianised area of Bromley Town Centre will be transformed with vibrant planters designed by children from 30 local primary schools. This year’s theme, ‘Growing Together’ encourages the children to design planters that represent friendship, teamwork, and supporting each other as classmates.

On Saturday 20th June our judging panel will tour the displays from 11am and winners will be announced round midday. This year’s judging panel includes much loved television presenter and gardening guru, Charlie Dimmock.

Charlie Dimmock commented: “It’s such a positive event and one I really look forward to each year. I love seeing how the children get involved – not just with gardening, but also with shaping the look and feel of their town – it’s a real pleasure to see how gardening can help them connect with their community.”

The judges will select winners in four different categories:

• Most Creative
• Best Use of Theme
• Best Use of Colour
• Best Horticultural Display

The displays will be on show for a whole week until Friday 26th June, giving visitors to the town plenty of opportunity to admire their vibrant designs.

Public voting for the People’s Choice award will take place online from 19th to 26th June. Look out for posters with QR codes displayed near the planters or return to this page.
