Friday 19 – Friday 26 June
30 local primary schools transformed the pedestrianised area of Bromley High Street with beautiful planter displays inspired by the theme ‘Growing Together.’. on display from Friday 19 June to Friday 26th June.
On Saturday 20 June, our judging panel, featuring much-loved television presenter and gardening expert Charlie Dimmock, toured the displays and announced their winners. Members of the public also had the opportunity to take part by voting online for the People’s Choice Award.
Charlie Dimmock commented: “It’s such a positive event and one I really look forward to each year. I love seeing how the children get involved – not just with gardening, but also with shaping the look and feel of their town – it’s a real pleasure to see how gardening can help them connect with their community.”
