Your Bromley Switch On

Get ready to kick off the festive season! Join us on Sunday 16th November for Your Bromley Switch On. Festivities start at The Glades from 1–2pm before moving to Bromley High Street from 2–6:30pm for an afternoon and evening of entertainment and family fun.

Enjoy a full line-up of live on-stage entertainment, roaming street performers, and appearances from special guests as we count down to the big Christmas lights switch-on. Our Christmas Market will be in full swing, where you’ll find a festive bar, food stalls, a big wheel, a helter-skelter, and funfair rides for younger children.

We’re thrilled to be joined by stars from this year’s Churchill Theatre panto, Hi-de-Hi! star and national treasure, Su Pollard, and the UK’s brightest young ventriloquists, Jamie Leahey, who rose to national fame as Runner-Up on Britain’s Got Talent 2022.

And to top it all off, we’re delighted to welcome a very special guest – Britain’s Got Talent winner and West End star Sydnie Christmas! Sydnie will take to the stage for a special live performance before joining our special guests, including Bromley’s very ownLocal Hero to lead the magical Christmas lights countdown with a spectacular firework finale!

Sydnie said, “I can’t wait to come to Bromley and switch on the town’s Christmas lights on 16th November; the town is close to my heart. I used to spend a lot of time with my friends there, especially at the Churchill Theatre. The Churchill was actually one of the first theatres I performed at as a child! I’m looking forward to singing some Christmas numbers to get everyone in a festive mood!’
