Employer Supported Policing– an invitation to Bromley employers and employees. The Met Police are offering to train volunteer members of staff as Volunteer Police Constables, who have the same powers as a regular police constables. Many Volunteer Police Constables simply train and volunteer 16 hours a month in their own time. Some employers, recognising the knowledge and expertise their employee Volunteer Police Constables develop, and the potential benefits to their business and premises, are able to provide such employees with some paid time to take on the role.
