Thirty local primary schools, one theme – Growing Together – and a high street in full bloom.
For one week in June, the town centre grew into a garden.

Thirty local primary schools took over the pedestrianised High Street with planter displays grown around this year's theme, Growing Together – each one designed, planted and nurtured by the children themselves.
On Saturday 20 June the town welcomed television gardening royalty, as Charlie Dimmock walked the street to judge every entry. In her words: it's such a positive event, and one she really looks forward to each year.

The public had their say too, with hundreds of votes cast for the People's Choice Award before the winners were announced at the end of the week. Read the full coverage below – and start growing ideas for next June.
