The smash hit, toe-tapping feel good comedy.
Tap your troubles away at the Churchill Theatre, Bromley, this September.
Richard Harris' warm and witty comedy follows a group of amateur dancers who meet each week for a tap class in a draughty church hall.
Led by Mavis Turner, the class brings together a colourful mix of personalities, each with their own reasons for taking part. As they prepare for a charity performance, friendships grow, tensions rise, and unexpected talents begin to emerge.
What starts with missteps and mishaps gradually becomes something much more meaningful. Stepping Out is a funny and feel-good story about friendship, confidence, and finding your place in a group.
Karen Hauer takes on the role of Mavis Turner, joined by Lucy Benjamin as Vera. The cast also includes Wendy Mae Brown as Rose, Sophie-Louise Dann as Dorothy, Felicity Duncan as Mrs. Fraser, Kerry Enright as Sylvia, Devon Elise Johnson as Lynne, Carli Norris as Maxine, Ben Stock as Geoffrey, and Laura Tyrer as Andy.
Directed by Chris Jordan, from the team behind previous summer productions including The Invisible Man, The Play What I Wrote, and The Hound of the Baskervilles.
